We hope that everyone is enjoying their break!  This is a friendly reminder that we will hold our first meeting back on January 9th, 2012.  We'll have some interactive activities and a [surprise] game for scouts, and in addition will practice/teach our troop yell.  This is a meeting you don't want to miss!

12/12/2011 (Holiday Party!)

This Monday, December 12th, we will hold our annual holiday party at the cabin, 7:00!  Don't forget that to partake in the gift exchange you must bring a present [wrapped] valued at $10 or less.  There will also be treats and desserts.  Dress in Class C (Casual).  See you all there!

Plus, on December 12th, we will hold our annual Troop Holiday Party + Gift Exchange in place of a troop meeting.  It will be at the cabin (Class C - 'casual') at the usual meeting hours.  In order to participate in the gift exchange, you must bring a gift valued at no more than $10.  Thank you!

Hey everyone!  We're looking forward to a fantastic trip this weekend in the Mojave Desert: Granite Cove.  It should be filled with off-roading and some once-in-a-lifetime experiences!

Don't forget that Troop 1's first Patrol of the Month will be awarded to the patrol with the most points at the end of October!  Have a look at the standings by clicking at the link to the right.  See what your patrol can do to become Troop 1's first Patrol of the Month.

Hello world!  We look forward to utilizing this blog to communicate to all of Troop 1.  As you may have noticed, this site also serves all the functions of the current Troop website.  So please, bookmark us, and check back often!

Monday, September 26th, will be the first troop meeting with your new SPL Staff, who will give a presentation elaborating on Troop 1 policy for the upcoming year for the entire troop!  Be sure to mark your calendars - and come find out what's changed, what's new, and what to expect for what will be a great, productive year!
